Dr. John Kinahan, BSc, M.D., FRCSC
Principal Investigator
Dr. John Kinahan graduated from the faculty of medicine at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Kinahan is licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C. and obtained his Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1997. Dr. Kinahan maintains membership in the Canadian Urological Association, the American Urological Association, and is a Diplomate of the American board of Urology.
Dr. Kinahan has many publications in peer-reviewed journals, and has participated in clinical research since obtaining his fellowship qualification. He is a clinical instructor in the Department of Urologic Sciences at UBC, and is dedicated to the advancement of treatments in all areas of urology. Dr. Kinahan is one of the few urologists in Western Canada participating in clinical trials, and is able to offer patients innovative new investigative options for urologic disorders.
